Every once in a while i land up doing a project for a client and get so carried away with the artwork, that cost quoted,profits... all don't seem to matter anymore.Have been thinking about this for a while,i makes so much difference to the artist and the final artwork when you deal with people who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer.
One such project was for a customer turned friend,i got a call from a really delightful young lady Megha. There are some people who exude a sense of happiness, its almost like an aura around them.A while ago when she came across some of my Recycle.Reuse bottle art,she ordered a couple of bottles for a friend and i thought ok here's one of the normal personal orders.Did the bottles and handed them over :-)
Just this weekend i was pleasantly surprised to get a call from her,she had a last minute requirement for an event she was organizing.I got the call on Friday and she needed 4 serving trays ready by Monday for a press event. It was a travel event so we decided to do each tray depicting a particular state. There was loads of enthusiasm and a dash of worry whether i would be able to finish the task in time.I personally love customized designs,it pushes you as an artist and there's always the immense feeling of satisfaction when your customer is happy and smiling.
After much back and forth, last minute changes these are the hand-painted serving trays that were a result of the creative process.Thank you Megha Ghosh for having my back and believing in my work :-) Huggsss
